Sara Noyed, Executive Director

Camp has been part of my life and hooked me from a young age. By the time I had to choose my career, I knew that I wanted to be a camp professional. Waking up every day knowing that I get to create experiences that make a positive impact on the lives of children and provide a lifetime of memories for kids like the ones that I had growing up makes it easy to get moving every day. After earning a degree in Recreation Management from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse, I have been fortunate to live that dream for the last twenty years through various non-profit organizations.

I joined the Happy Hollow team as the Executive Director in October of 2022 and have enjoyed every moment of being a part of this team. In addition to my professional role in camping, I also serve as the Chair for the American Camp Association’s Indiana Local Council of Leaders, as well as being a volunteer accreditation visitor and trainer.

Outside of work, I originally hale from Wisconsin (Go Pack Go!). My husband and I move to New Jersey briefly, before making Indianapolis home in 2008. My husband and I have two daughters, two dogs and two hamsters. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, tent camping and being active.
