Every counselor will be assigned a group of 4-5 campers and will be in a cabin group of 6-10 campers with another staff during each week of camp. Counselor duties include, but are not limited to, supervising campers, cabin, mealtimes, overseeing transitions to and from scheduled activities, and supervising showers and bedtime, etc. The ideal candidate should be an excellent multitasker with a genuine passion for working with and empowering young people. AmeriCorps positions funding comes from AC HQ and Serve Indiana.

The Unit Leader is responsible for overseeing each cabin group of campers, providing support for the cabin counselors, and assisting with camper conflicts and discipline issues. Duties include running campfire programs, daily check-ins with counselors, and filling in for counselors when needed.

Our High Ropes Counselors are responsible for facilitating a safe and challenging aerial experience on the high ropes course and climbing wall for campers during each week of camp. High Ropes Counselors must pass a 3-day high ropes training prior to the start of camp.

Our lifeguards are responsible for maintaining a safe and fun environment for campers and staff down at the waterfront during camp. Duties include conducting swim tests, leading water games for campers, and responding to emergencies as needed.

The Equestrian Counselor is responsible for teaching campers the basics of safe horseback riding and leading them on rides in the ring or on the lower trail during each week of camp. Duties include managing the horse barn, feeding the horses, cleaning and filling the water troth, and tending to the horses. The Equestrian Counselor will be assigned to a group of 4-5 campers and will be in a cabin group of 6-10 campers with another staff during each week.
